The Deployment interface provides methods to get the status of the vCenter appliance deployment. This interface was added in vSphere API 6.7.

get

DeploymentTypes.Info get()

Get the current status of the appliance deployment. This method was added in vSphere API 6.7.

Synchronous method overload. Result of the invocation will be reported as a method return value.

Returns:

Info structure containing the status information about the appliance.

Throws:

Unauthenticated - if the caller is not authenticated.

NotFound - if appliance state cannot be determined.

get

DeploymentTypes.Info get(InvocationConfig invocationConfig)

Get the current status of the appliance deployment. This method was added in vSphere API 6.7.

Synchronous method overload. Result of the invocation will be reported as a method return value. Use invocationConfig to specify configuration for this particular invocation.

Parameters:

invocationConfig - Configuration for the method invocation.

Returns:

Info structure containing the status information about the appliance.
