Synopsis

Updates a credential auto rotate policy.

Syntax

Set-VCFCredentialAutoRotatePolicy [-resourceName] <String> [-resourceType] <String> [-credentialType] <String> [-username] <String> [-autoRotate] <String> [[-frequencyInDays] <Int32>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

The Set-VCFCredentialAutoRotatePolicy cmdlet updates the auto rotate policy for a credential. Credentials can be be set to auto rotate using system generated password(s).

Example 1

Set-VCFCredentialAutoRotatePolicy -resourceName sfo01-m01-vc01.sfo.rainpole.io -resourceType VCENTER -credentialType SSH -username root -autoRotate ENABLED -frequencyInDays 90

This example shows how to enable the auto rotate policy for a specific resource.

Example 2

Set-VCFCredentialAutoRotatePolicy -resourceName sfo01-m01-vc01.sfo.rainpole.io -resourceType VCENTER -credentialType SSH -username root -autoRotate DISABLED

This example shows how to disable the auto rotate policy for a specific resource.
