Get-VamiServiceStatus

Synopsis

Returns the status of the service on a vCenter Server instance.

Syntax

Get-VamiServiceStatus [-server] <String> [-user] <String> [-pass] <String> [-nolog] [-service] <String> [<CommonParameters>]

Description

The Get-VamiServiceStatus cmdlet returns the current status of the service on a given vCenter Server. The status can be STARTED/STOPPED.

Examples

Example 1

Get-VAMIServiceStatus -server sfo-m01-vc01.sfo.rainpole.io -user administrator@vsphere.local -pass VMw@re1! -service wcp

This example connects to a vCenter Server instance and returns the wcp service status.

Example 2

Get-VAMIServiceStatus -server sfo-m01-vc01.sfo.rainpole.io -user <administrator@vsphere.local>  -pass VMw@re1! -service wcp -nolog

This example connects to a vCenter Server instance and returns the wcp service status without log messages in the output.
