getDatastore

public java.lang.String getDatastore()

Identifier of the datastore for the virtual machine template's configuration and log files. This property was added in vSphere API 6.7 U1. This property is currently required. If null, getStoragePolicy() must be set. The server picks a datastore that is compatible with the specified storage policy.

If both getDatastore() and getStoragePolicy() are specified, and the storage policy is incompatible with the getDatastore(), then the virtual machine template will be flagged as being out of compliance with the specified storage policy.

Returns:

The current value of the property. When clients pass a value of this class as a parameter, the property must be an identifier for the resource type: Datastore. When methods return a value of this class as a return value, the property will be an identifier for the resource type: Datastore.

setDatastore

Identifier of the datastore for the virtual machine template's configuration and log files. This property was added in vSphere API 6.7 U1. This property is currently required. If null, getStoragePolicy() must be set. The server picks a datastore that is compatible with the specified storage policy.
