Update-VcenterAccountLockout¶

Synopsis¶

Updates the account lockout policy for a vCenter Server instance.

Syntax¶

Update-VcenterAccountLockout [-server] <String> [-user] <String> [-pass] <String> [-domain] <String> [-failures] <Int32> [[-unlockInterval] <Int32>] [[-rootUnlockInterval] <Int32>] [<CommonParameters>]

Description¶

The Update-VcenterAccountLockout cmdlet configures the account lockout policy of a vCenter Server. The cmdlet connects to SDDC Manager using the -server, -user, and -pass values:

Validates that network connectivity and authentication is possible to SDDC Manager
Validates that network connectivity and authentication is possible to vCenter Server
Configures the account lockout policy

This example configures the account lockout policy for a vCenter Server instance based on the workload domain.
