New-RebuiltVsanDatastore

Synopsis

Guides the rebuild of a vSAN datastore on a recovered cluster. It leverages the first host in the cluster as a reference host for disk layout to allow the user to control the vSAN Diskgroup configuration.

Syntax

New-RebuiltVsanDatastore [-vCenterFQDN] <String> [-vCenterAdmin] <String> [-vCenterAdminPassword] <String> [-clusterName] <String> [-extractedSDDCDataFile] <String> [<CommonParameters>]

Description

The New-RebuiltVsanDatastore cmdlet guides the rebuild of a vSAN datastore on a recovered cluster. It leverages the first host in the cluster as a reference host for disk layout to allow the user to control the vSAN Diskgroup configuration. Should only be used if the disk configuration is standardized across the hosts.
