Synopsis¶
Check network connectivity to a VMware Aria Operations for Networks instance.
Syntax¶
Test-AriaNetworksConnection [-server] <String> [[-port] <Int32>] [<CommonParameters>]
Description¶
The Test-AriaNetworksConnection
cmdlet checks the network connectivity to a VMware Aria Operations for Networks instance.
Supports testing a connection on ports 443 (HTTPS) and 22 (SSH). Default: 443 (HTTPS).

Test-AriaNetworksConnection -server xint-net01a.rainpole.io
This example checks network connectivity with a VMware Aria Operations for Networks instance on default port, 443 (HTTPS).
Example 2¶
Test-AriaNetworksConnection -server xint-net01a.rainpole.io -port 443
This example checks network connectivity with a VMware Aria Operations for Networks instance on port 443 (HTTPS). This is the default port.
Example 3¶
Test-AriaNetworksConnection -server xint-net01a.rainpole.io -port 22
This example checks network connectivity with a VMware Aria Operations for Networks instance on port 22 (SSH).
